Town of Lyons Objects Application, Proposes Renegotiation of its CEMEX IGA with Boulder County"
Mayor of the Town of Lyons, Hollie Rogin, sent a letter to the Boulder County Commissioners on September 13, 2022 proposing amendments to the Inter-Governmental Agreement which was originally negotiated in 2012. Because the Town of Lyons was not included in earlier negotiations of the new permit application for 15 more years of mining, Mayor Rogan believes that the original IGA needs to be renegotiated.
